If you’re completing a DIY removal, listed below is some helpful and useful information to ensure a safe and secure DIY removal.

I am thinking of a DIY removal

DIY removals can save you money on your removal, however you will need to ask friends and family if they will lend a helping hand. DIY house removals can be a physical burden upon some people and their families, especially people who are elderly, disabled or people who have history of back problems. If you do decide on a DIY removals, be sure to use friends and family who are fit and healthy. DIY house removals will need to be done correctly, otherwise it could end up costing your more than you bargained for.

Imagine dropping your new plasma tv or tearing a hole in your new sofa or wall, which could cost more than £1000 to replace. These things can happen at times, even when using a professional moving company, after all we are all human and accidents can happen, from time to time. When completing a DIY removal and you have expensive furniture and items, you want to move to your new home. Getting them insured could save you thousands of pounds and stop you from having to replace items and furniture yourself or out of your own pocket. You will feel so much better just knowing that your most expensive and delicate furniture and items are insured.

Remember that DIY removals can put a strain on you, your family, friends and relationships, this is purely as the moving process can be very hard physical work, which can tire the body and immune system, very quickly, always have a glass of water, yogurt and fruit to help build your strength up, when moving heavy boxes and items. Being organizes is vital when completing a diy removals, imagine if one of your friends, helping you on the move had to reschedule that day for some thing else, these things can happen, so double-check your help in hands will be there, and turn up on the day for your DIY house removal.

DIY house removals doesn’t have to be a bad experience, when you stick to scheduled plan of action. Start the packing early, packing only a few removal boxes a day, rather than rushing to finish the packing on the day of your move, when you should be moving. Packing a few items or boxes at time will help reduce the strain of packing 100 removal boxes, all at the same time or within the same day. Again you will need to purchase all your removal boxes and materials yourself.

When planning a DIY removals, you will need to hire a large enough moving van, that can take your items in one go, especially if your home is far away. Which can again be a burden, when you have to give back the hired removal van. Bear in mind that many removal van hiring companies, will hold a deposit for their van, with an estimated price range of £250, which will be refunded, providing no damage has been done. This is a considerable amount of money to lose, so experience in driving larger heavy removal vehicles is recommended. Sometimes things that look brighter from one side, may be disastrous on the other, so please bear this in mind, when making your final decision on whether to complete a DIY removals or use a professional moving company.

Find the moving information you need, to help you on your way. You can gather all the relevant tips and information from websites, just like this one. Websites like this are designed to make your house removal, simple and easy, whether using a removal company or not.

What is the difference between DIY removals vs removal companies

I’m Thinking Of Hiring A Professional House Removal Company

Many people moving home, hire a removal company for many different reason. Dealing with a house removal, on top of work, family, estate, agents, solicitors, banks, builders and other contractors, can be too much for some people and their families to cope with, so getting a reliable and trusted removals company, is the only and most safest option for a successful home relocation, for the majority of people.

When hiring your professional moving company, the customer moving home, will not need to lift a single finger or help the removal men in any way, as your moving companies will have the, training, experience and insurance in place to be able to complete your move swiftly and 9 times out of 10, with out no issues. Customers are not insured to help out with the move ,so if you move some thing and it did get damaged, the removal company may not be liable for compensation for that item, so its best to leave the experts to their job.

Hiring removal companies is a simple and easy process, you will be allocated a personal move consultant and advisor, who will point your move in the right direction. You will be provided a free home survey, that is Free of charge and you are not entitled to book in with that removals company, unless you are completely satisfied with the removal services and prices they have to offer you and your family, when moving home.

On your home survey your move consultant will explain the moving process and what you will need to do, to ensure your move goes smoothly. They will speak to you about the type of removal and packing service you will need, whether that be a full or part packing service, storage or any other extra removal services, that may include dismantling beds and wardrobes etc. They will also make notes of every single item of furniture and belongings, you have to be moved to your new home. Your move consultant will take notes of the access and exits and whether the driveway or roads are big enough for the removal vehicles to gain access to your property.

All these points will be calculated, along with the volume of furniture and belongings you wish to be moved, to your new home. When you are happy that your moving company meets your exact needs and requirements, you can go ahead and book your move. The home survey process is simple and is a great benefit for your move, as the moving company can prepare for your move, providing the right size, vehicles, removal boxes and materials and the right amount of removal men and packing team needed.

prof

The difference of using a moving company for your move is, that you can sit back and relax and leave the removal men to complete the move, even while you are at work, out for the day or even out of the country. A trusted moving company will have your home furniture and belongings moved and packed, in time for your arrival or for when the children finish school. Removal companies often work to stricked deadlines, especially when relocating offices and businesses.

Knowing that your move is taken care of and is in the safest of hands, is a huge weight of your shoulders when moving home. Your moving company may split your removal into two days, one to complete the packing service and two, for the removals service, this will help to ensure that the entire process is stress free, for you and your family. The movers and packers are trained, to pack and move your home safely. When packing your home ,the packing team will wrap each and every item individually and then place into removal boxes. All items will be wrapped, including sofas, beds, mattress, tv, pictures and all other delicate and fragile items within your home, including lighting, chandeliers, curtains etc.

On the day of your move all you will need to do is, label each room in your new house and the removal men will do the rest. The Removal men will load your belongings and furniture into the correct rooms, making it easier for you to unpack your boxes.

Many people may think hiring a professional moving company is expensive, but there wrong, when weighing up the odds, which we will come to later, hiring a moving company is a blessing in disguise, for most new homeowners and for people relocating house , office, business or employees, as they just don’t have the facilities to complete the move, like the professionals do.

The beauty of hiring a removals company is that you could be sitting in your new home, with your family, all within one day, without the stress the physical hard work, relying on friends and family and so on. Making your move as easy as possible is the best most cost-effective way of moving home and that is a decision many home movers will have to face ,when relocating their furniture and belongings to their new destination.

If moving abroad or overseas with your removals company, this process is stress free for the customer, as they can make their own way to their destination carry just their personal bags and belongings, while the moving company, ships or drives your furniture to you directly, no matter where you are moving in the world. This process is effective and can be costly, but can you imagine taking on this burden yourself, with all the other important issues you will have to deal with when you arrive in your new country.

When home movers, move house, 9 times out of 10 people are waiting to move in. Having your removal company onside, will help speed up the entire moving process, reducing delays in the moving chain. Many homeowner moving home, will need to be out of their property for a certain time, as they no longer own the property any more and the new homeowners will be waiting to move straight in, once they keys have been exchange and monies have been transferred, into the relevant bank accounts. Waiting for keys can be a big delay when moving home, either by yourself or when using a moving company, double-check with your agents, exactly when you will receive the keys to your new house.
