A survey helps us understand what needs moving and how the crew will access both properties. It is particularly useful for larger households, long-distance moves, substantial garage contents or properties with challenging access.

Depending on your requirements, we may discuss a home visit, walkthrough video or photographs. The number of bedrooms alone does not show the size of your load. A smaller home with full cupboards, a shed and a garage can contain more than a larger, lightly furnished property.

For a useful walkthrough video:

– Show every room and the furniture you are taking.
– Open cupboards to show contents that will need boxing.
– Include loft storage, garages, sheds and outdoor belongings.
– Point out items staying behind.
– Show entrances, stairs, tight corners and the route to the vehicle.
– Identify anything needing extra protection or dismantling.
